I purchased this for my kids who really wanted to learn how dice stacking works,It was actually also an excuse to get it for myself to try as well. This set comes with everything needed to learn both basic and advanced moves with dice stacking. I did try a little too hard at one point and chipped one of the dice. I reached out to the seller to see if spare dice was an option to purchase and they ended up sending me a replacement free of charge! Excellent product and even better customer service!!

The dice are not razor sharp edges and they don’t withstand the hours of practice needed to get better. All of the die have missing corners or chunks out of them and it hasn’t been 2 months.

Great little set for this interesting skill

When I first saw this product, I was wondering...."what the hell is this?" So, I did what any inquisitive person would do - I googled it. I was intrigued and amazed at what I saw. Young kids made this stacking skill look so easy. And so, I figured that I could do it as well.

The components of the set are extremely well made. The dice have straight edges (which is a must) and the cups provided are just the right size. All are top rate in terms of quality.

But, what I soon found out, is that it's not as easy as it looks on Youtube. If you have never done this before, be prepared to go chasing after dice that will almost undoubtedly be sent flying in all directions. Don't allow any small children in the room because you will be uttering profanities left and right! And be warned that the flying dice will be moving at a high rate of speed.

Eventually, you will lift up the cup and the dice will be stacked. Euphoria! Now, you just have to remember exactly what you did so you can replicate the feat.

I wish that the set would have come with either a small instruction booklet or a link to a site where they actually teach you how to do it. But I'm sure with a little perseverance, I will find something online that teaches me how to do it with consistency.

Nice little diversion for a retired math teacher.....

A great set for beginners

If you've ever tried dice stacking before, you know that not only is it more difficult than it looks, but also the materials really matter. Using the correct cups and dice can make your job much easier, and using the wrong ones can make your job almost impossible. The advantage of this set is that it comes with everything you need in just the right sizes and shapes to make stacking as easy as possible.

There's no magic to it, though. While the cups are manufactured to be exactly the right size, and the dice have straight edges (as you need), there's nothing here that's going to do your work for you. Like any form of juggling, you need to put in the hours to make it happen.

One thing I like about this set is that it comes with enough materials to give you some options. It has a clear plastic cup that's attractively manufactured to mimic the look of an actual glass (but without the weight or risk of breaking) tall enough to accommodate five stacked dice. It also comes with a black plastic cup that's ever-so-slightly translucent (I expected it to be completely opaque, but I don't think it makes much of a difference) tall enough to take the entire included stack of eight dice.

These materials will give you a lot of options to learn dice stacking. The one thing it's missing is instructions. Though it's easy to find tutorials online (and I suspect most people interested in this product have probably already seen some of them), I think it would have been a better set had it included a little booklet of instructions for beginners.

Despite that minor omission, though, I'm quite happy with the set and I've been enjoying practicing with it.
