3 ply face masks Reynard

These arrived very quickly and were well priced. I had read online that they were manufactured in China, so this was not a surprise to me. Unfortunately, finding domestically (Australian) made face masks, at a good price, is near impossible.
These are not packaged in any plastic, perhaps that is a good thing; less waste. They do not appear to have any odour.
I am attaching several photos, as I find the description on Amazon is less than satisfactory.

Packaging not so hygienic

The masks within the box was not wrapped or packaged. I am concerned with regards to the cleanliness of how it is sorted and packaged. I have bought similar products in the past and its normally got further packaging in side along with a certification that the masks meet quality checks. Also just as FYI I would clarify that Reynard is a Australian distributor, the masks itself is made in China.

I was surprised that the masks came in a paper box with no protection for the masks inside the box.. hard to know where they’ve been, how they’ve been stored etc., before arriving at your door step. The masks seem to be ok, they feel soft, nose metal things are wide and give good coverage to help with glasses fogging up and ear loops are firmly anchored. My box of masks didn’t have any smell as some reviewers have noted. In summary, if you don’t mind that these masks were made in Wuhan, and not sealed in plastic, then at such a reasonable price point for ASTM lvl2, then these would be a good and useful purchase.

Ok but not great

These masks are all white, on both sides (not pictured). They are “ok” but not great. They are not as good quality as what is handed out at most Covid checkpoints say for testing, hospitals etc. I had hoped for higher quality and better figment given that they are ASTM-2 rated. The fitment is not very broad, definitely suit a narrower face. The ASTM-2 rating definitely comes from the inner membrane of the 3-layer system, and they do not “breathe” well, especially noticeable during exertion or if you wear eye glasses. There are better choices on the market, in my opinion, but the price point is hard to ignore.

Read the other reviews after I ordered. I was worried I had purchased something that was not as advertised.
I can confirm that my purchase, the masks are white. All the loops and nose pieces were intact on each mask. Happy with fit and quality. While masks are not individually wrapped neither are the medical masks you get at a hospital. This was not an issue for me. Overall I am happy with the product.

Not as thick but comfortable to wear

I find it strange that these masks don't come sealed and only just packaged in the box, but they are comfortable to wear and are all white as pictured. Not as thick as other medical face masks that I have purchased in the past though (blue, also 3 ply) even though it's meant to be 3 ply as well.

I was disappointed when these masks arrived. I bought two boxes and one box was crushed. The masks didn’t seem well sealed in their plastic bag. When I tried it on, it was flimsy and didn’t fit snug like most other masks I had before. I was disappointed when I found in very tiny writing that they are made in China. On the Amazon site it doesn’t mention country of origin in product details! I am only interested in made in Australia. Sadly I will dispose of them as I don’t feel they are up to the standard I expected.

This is the second time I bought from the same seller, first time I was happy as the product received is the product what I expected, at least same type of packaging as shown in photo
This time to my great disappointment, the masks didnt come in a box, but came in package of 2 with a certificate stating it is NON MEDICAL disposable mask. I pay for ADTM lvl 2 Medical face mask, the mask I received is thinner than what I get last time, so I am pretty sure I have recieved a completely different product despite I bought from the same company as last time.

It’s value for money considering it’s 3-ply and it says medical face mask. However, with the current Covid strand that we have, I’m not sure if it’s sufficient enough. Just like most masks in the market it’s made in China. The ear loops are not tight but it holds the mask in place.
