The big selling point are the special markers and paper that interact to produce color without leaving mess on hands, walls, clothes, or tables. Worked great when traveling and will purchase a different character set in the future.

Pros:
-Mess free
-Great for traveling and using in places that are rented
-Requires less supervision for children old enough who have outgrown shoving everything into their mouth
-Recognizable characters and large shapes to color with the fat markers

Cons:
-Caps fit too tightly for child to independently take off or put back on properly
-Darker colors react better versus the lighter. The yellow is especially dim

Nice pictures, pictures are on thicker paper. The packaging is okay, they says it’s easy to close for storage but I won’t use that for my 2 year old. A little expensive for the few pictures you get. The regular baby shark coloring pages from crayola (with stickers) is a much better deal, my 4 year old has those. All in all, nice set just a little pricey.

Adorable addition to the baby shark party we had for the little one. Papers are loose not bound so that’s not super convenient. I’d rather have a perforated book so they stay together rather than end up strewn about in every room of the house. Markers are small but effective. Grandson loves coloring, but was not really that interested in these. He is 3 & baby shark used to be his favorite, but think he has outgrown that interest. The colors are not really bright and pens dry up fast. Some were already pretty dry when it arrived. Do like they are used as individual pages instead of a book.

Very cute. I agree with others that it would be easier if this were in book form and not loose pages. I love that the markers look like real markers but only color of the pages. Great colors too! There is a small delay in coloring the page and it actually changing color. There are a few spots that won’t color no matter how much you color it. My toddler still loves it and it is a mess free alternative than real colors! I would and probably will buy again.

I purchased this for my 18 month old. He is able to cap and uncap the markers by himself and the markers only color on the paper provided, as advertised.
However, they can still leave marks on other surfaces like vinyl flooring. It leaves a “wet streak” even after drying, but with no pigmentation.
It is also difficult to color inside the lines of the pictures because there is a few seconds of delay between drawing a mark and when the pigment appears.
