SETUP: This thing was a huge pain to set up and configure for Android. Even with the instructions it was hard to understand. Also, if you're using it for Genshin, make sure to change the "mode:walk" option to "use button to switch" in your settings otherwise your character will barely move.

GAMEPLAY: It's nice to have an easier way to move but in Genshin it does not work for flying or climbing. I do not know why but it won't move your character which is very annoying.

Overall, I'm pretty disappointed and don't think it was worth $20. The only thing it has going for it is that it's cute. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Once you get it set up, it works pretty well. I have only one complaint about in game functionality (took off half a star), but I have more concern about the software security related to the permissions you have to give the app (took off 1.5 stars)

FUNCTIONALITY COMPLAINT:
This device works like a champ in games with a fixed movement control interface position. But in some games, the on screen movement control is not locked in one spot, but adjusts it's center position based on where you initially touch the screen before sliding. For the most part, this device still works well for that - your first small joystick motion registers as the initial touch, and the center position of the movement control is slightly shifted, but you still have plenty of room to slide around further and control normally. The problem comes up when you really quickly slam the joystick in one direction. I've found this can result in an "initial" touch that at(or near) the max movement range of the joystick, so you can't "slide" any further in that direction so you either stand still or accidentally move in a wrong direction. This doesn't happen much, and again only if you really slam the joystick fast, but for me that only happens at really critical game moments - when you least want a control glitch. I deem this a rare but substantial flaw worth taking off half a star. But also it could be pretty easily solved with some form of software "smoothing" to prevent a huge, sudden input jump (you could make this smoothing optional if people are worried about a sluggish input lag feel).

SECURITY CONCERN:
It takes some minor effort to follow their instructions to enable all the proper permissions for the device to work on your phone. The effort doesn't bother me - as I get this isn't a functionality that android really supports. But you have to give the app 2 potentially concerning permissions. 1) let it "display over other apps" - which of course it has to have to let you configure the movement position and pass the input on to the game. But in theory, this permission also lets the app do shady things on other apps without you realizing (eg - request some sensitive permission in the background, but cover up the actual system approve/deny prompt with a fake prompt for something benign). 2) more concerning, you have to enable "developer mode" the "usb debug" mode, which in theory lets the device install anything it wants without your permission or even without notifying you. If this company wanted to load their device with malware/spyware and install it on your phone - this would give them an open door and you wouldn't know it happened. and the app lets the update the device firmware, so they could at any point in the future push new malware to the device and have it install it.

While i love having this device for games, and I optimistically hope it's not a shady company, they sure have a lot of power to be shady if they want to. That scares me a little.

I really wanted this to work well. It did when I first was using it then shortly after started messing up. I got a replacement and It also did the same. I think it might be because of the price but I really wanted this to work well. It just wouldnt. If the tracking didnt mess up this thing would be awesome.

It looks like it will be fun to use, but the mapping button disappears right after CODM loads, which is only reason I bought it. I read people use it for that purpose, but I'm jealous because I haven't yet
