How are ratings calculated?
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.

Good story which gripped me until about halfway through, when I began to lose interest in the main characters. The swap between past and present became more confusing. However I would still recommend you try it- you may find the second half more satisfying than I.

I am somewhat disappointed with this book. I felt it drag on a bit and I certainly wouldn't call it a psychological thriller. The ending was slightly interesting but not spectacular.

I am unclear why this is called a psychological thriller. There was nothing thrilling about the book. I should have stopped shortly after starting.

It moves too slowly most of years time until near the end. Then one surprise after another. It was worth getting through the first part which was needed to understand the last chapter. For when you think you know all, one more side is revealed...

It was overall a good book. I like the different time periods to tell the story. However I wouldn’t exactly call it a psychological thriller. I could easily put it down and come back later. It just wasn’t that gripping.
