Cheap, cheap wiring.

I am SO, SO bummed as I was so excited about getting this rower. I don't leave reviews generally but I read ALL the reviews of this rower as it was a big purchase for us and knew it would be a pain for returns and didn't want to have to go that route. I couldn't find any reviews about it outside of Amazon, which maybe should have been a sign.

We got the entire thing set up. It's very sturdy and thought so far, so good. The last part was getting the display connected. The wiring between the base and the display is so cheaply made. It looked as though parts were held together with hot glue. Literally HOT GLUE. The two pieces coming out of the main part of the rower and were so broken we couldn't fix.

Broke on the first use and not enough resistance!

Even though the rowing machine is filled to the max water level line, it still does not give enough resistance! This alone makes the machine useless. I've done 30 mins, 650 rows, and currently 3 months pregnant, and DID NOT FEEL A THING AFTERWARDS!!! Even my 9 year old son can do the same resistance and feel NOTHING! How ridiculous!

Also, the plastic piece that holds the foot pedal strap broke on the first use! The straps are very hard to tighten. I contacted the company and they agreed to send a replacement and even created a tracking number but USPS is still waiting on them to bring the item...and this was an entire WEEK ago and the item still has not shipped!!! I will be requesting a full refund instead.

I found assembling the rower easy. The base of the machine where the wheel goes was cracked. I telephoned and emailed customer service. No response. It has been for months and no response. I was really disappointed. I learned my lesson. Choose a name-brand device, at least the customer service will be better. There is no customer service for Snode.

The rower is okay, the monitor is worthless. The app doesn't work. Can't use this rower....it is worthless if you can't measure spm or split times. Very disappointed. The same model, WR100, on the Snode website, shows the monitor with these stats. I would love it if I could switch the monitor but I doubt that is an option. Nothing else is compatible. Buyer beware.
