So out of nowhere, I started getting moths in my basement where I do laundry, it was bad enough they were eating holes in my favorite clothes...but then the spiders showed up. Not big scary spiders, little tiny spiders but they were everywhere despite my constantly dusting and removing the webs. I did some research and it seems they were there for the moths. I don't do well with chemical insecticides, so I looked up essential oils and other natural fixes for this problems, none of them worked.
So with nowhere else to go, I try this out not expecting much. I plugged one unit in right by the washing machine and the other I plugged in the garage, close to the automatic doors and spider webs are a constant problem and can keep the door from closing properly.
The first week, as the instructions warned, the problem got worse, they were everywhere...but not only were they everywhere, they even spun webs on the unit itself! It was like they were laughing at me! I didn't hold out much hope. I was determined to give it the month the company suggested before I toxified my house with the heavy duty chemicals...
So this morning is not quite 3 weeks...I went downstairs to do my morning cleanup of all the webs and to get as many of those little suckers as I could out of the house...and there were no webs! I could not find one spider and there were no moths either...understand I would normally dust up a hundred or more of these every day (they are REALLY little, like a speck of dust).
I cannot figure any other reason for this than this unit. So it works after all!
I will add that I really liked reading that it doesn't kill the pests, they just relocate (I checked neighboring rooms and nothing was there...whew!) Because although I'm not a fan of spiders, I got kind of attached to them...talked to them everyday telling them they had to leave...LOL. I didn't want them dead, spiders are beneficial insects...I just wanted them out of my house.
I live in the woods and come the colder weather, mice are always an issue as they look for warmer housing...I'm hoping this works for them as well.
So I will give these units two very big thumbs up and highly recommend them. Knowing what I was dealing with and all the things I tried...I would say this is an excellent value!

I really don't know. Maybe I have not had them in long enough. We have noticed that spiders seem to be coming out of hiding and we have had to dispose of those pests. We had ants and they have not returned. We have had other bugs that have not returned (box elder bugs, etc.) and hoping that this will help keep them away. Will update in a few weeks if there are any changes, if the bugs remain gone or if they return.
