Room for improvement

This was the only ‘made for show 15’ I could find. I use in portrait orientation. It’s fine for now but a better option will hopefully come along. 1) The stand seems flimsy. 2) The only way to change between landscape/portrait is by unscrewing and rescrewing the screws on the back, requiring a screwdriver. 3) The back of the stand extends far beyond the echo show so looks messy when viewed from the side

The information about this stand is misleading. "Tilt either landscape or portrait" YES, if you are prepared to unscrew the stand from the back every time you want to change orientation. I bought Echo Show 15 to use in my kitchen for the purpose of reading and following recipes (In Portrait) and watching Netflix / Amazon Prime (In Landscape) I bought the stand (£29.99) so I had the option to twist it round as and when needed with little effort, but unfortunately once you have screwed it to either landscape or portrait that is where it stays. On the plus side it is a sturdy stand.

It works. The base is heavy and study metal. The rest of this is cheap, single use, plastic. Not worth 30 quid, ever.
Why use plastic?
Show a bit of imagination, for 30 quid you can, and should, do much better.
Can't recommend this bit of tat.

Der Ständer ist gut verarbeitet, einfach zu installieren und erfüllt seinen Zweck in dem er dem relativ schweren Echo Show 15 einen sicheren Stand gibt. Sowohl im Hoch- als auch Querformat sieht das ganze recht schick aus. Schön ist auch, dass an eine Abdeckung hinten gedacht wurde.

Allerdings bin ich der Meinung, dass dieser Ständer zum Lieferumfang des Echo Show 15 gehören sollte, oder zumindest als vergünstigtes Set angeboten werden müsste. Rund 30€ zusätzlich zu einem 249€ Gerät sind etwas hochgegriffen.

Denn so toll der Echo Show 15 in den PR-Bildern an der Wand aussehen mag, die Wandmontage ist nicht die selbstverständlichste Variante. Da wären zum einen das dicke und viel zu kurze Kabel das verlegt werden muss und zum anderen ein handelsübliches Amazon-Netzteil, welches an einer Wand-Steckdose auch schnell als unschön auffällt. Außerdem fällt der Echo Show 15 dann doch recht dick und schwer aus, so, dass man wirklich bohren muss und nicht etwa auf Klebe-Lösungen zurückgreifen kann.

Mit diesem Ständer auf einem Low/Side-Board oder Regal, dem Schreib- oder Nachttich wird der Echo Show 15 jedoch zu einem echten Hingucker.

Insofern bekommt er meine Empfehlung, auch wenn die 30€ Extrakosten dafür einen faden Beigeschmack hinterlassen.

Stabil aber leider viel zu langer Standfuß (nicht für schmale Regale geeignet)

Der Ständer ist schön stabil. Der Echo Show wird mit 2 Schrauben oben befestigt und kann so in verschiedenen Neigungswinkeln stufenlos verstellt werden. Allerdings ist der Ständer auch für eine relativ breite Variation an Neigungswinkeln ausgelegt. Dadurch ist der Standfuß unten sehr lang und stört wenn man den Echo Show steil aufstellt. Man kann den Ständer deswegen nicht auf schmalen Regalbrettern oder einem Fenstersims stellen. Das ist ärgerlich.

Solo porque no hay mas opciones en el mercado para manejar en modo stand mi Echo Show 15, pero la verdad la calidad de construccion y opciones de posiciones estan "muy justas" por decirlo de alguna forma.
Por ese precio hubiera esperado una base mas solida, principalmente en metal y mejor diseñada, la base esta super simple.
