Three interesting seniors on a scenic jaunt.
I've driven the routes in this story. It was pleasant to revisit them.
Each lady has her secrets, memories and concerns to chew over.
Each has to learn how to adjust to the others in their borrowed home.
There are many humorous episodes, several scenes to encourage empathy and an on going touch of romantic angst.
Some places are described in loving detail, others brushed aside almost.
Throughout, the ladies support each other and develop depth to their bonding.
Just lacks conviction for me but it is fun with a hint of fairy tale magic and that alone is worth a lot in today's general social climate.

It was such fun and I felt like I was on the road with these women every step of the way. Can't imagine all the wine drinking that was done, though, but when you're in your golden years and on vacation, why not.
