I've bought 4 of these stoves so far. The last two are very different from the first two. I damaged the first and lost the second. I liked both stoves very much. The product page on Amazon from which I ordered those two stoves was discontinued. So by searching on the product title I found a similar product, the page on which I'm now writing this review.

I've since bought two stoves from this page. They both arrived in a slightly state of assembly than my first two stoves. I've returned both of the last two stoves.

When the first stove purchased from this page caught fire I assumed it was a unique product flaw. So I returned it and bought another. The second stove bought from this page also caught fire in the same location, at the end of the fuel line close to the stove. See photo.

I bought this to replace a larger stove that attached directly to the top of a propane tank. I used it for years, but it used detents to adjust the flame instead of continuous adjustment. The lowest setting would cause the flame to go out with the slightest puff of air. The next step up was so hot I had to be careful not to burn the food.
This appeared to be a perfect replacement BUT...
The flame adjustment was VERY inexact. The first time I lit it I had just barely cracked the valve open and when it lit using the built in ignitor it lit with a flame a foot or more in diameter, burning my hand!
I managed to get it adjusted (VERY SENSITIVE) but it did adjust down to a small managable flame big enough to cook with without going out, yet small enough not to burn the food.
I managed to get a pot of food cooking when I heard a weird sound coming from it. I looked around to see the entire upper section (mixing tube and burner glowing cherry red) and before I could stop it the hose fitting had overheated and started spouting flames that engulfed the entire stove in a ball of flame.
Luckily I had decided to try it out before going on a camping trip, and I was not near anything flamable.
I first thought it was just a defective unit until I read more of these reviews and found it is common on this unit. (Bad design obviously!)
This item is DANGEROUS and should NOT BE USED UNDER ANY CONDITIONS!
I wish I could give this ZERO STARS, but they wouldn't let me send this review without giving it at least one star! This product does not deserve any type of credit at all!

I bought this to keep in my truck for day trips out to the beach or up to the mountains. I wanted something small and easy to store. I just needed something small to boil water for my freeze dried meals. The first time using it the flame burned almost completely out of control, with almost no adjustment. I used the supplied adapter for the 1lb propane bottles. After running for less than 5 min, it got so hot it melted the igniter and warped all the metal parts to where they wouldn't fold back in on themselves to store back in it's little carrying case.

The stove came on time and came with a 1lb propain tank adapter in a cheap plastic hard case. The stove is great, but I had to oil the arms a bit before folding them out to avoid bending them because the joints are so tight. The little burner kicks butt when it comes to output, but use a windscreen for best results or the flame can be touchy in windy weather (like every other stove I've owned). I love how stable the base is and it accommodates for larger pots/pans. The electric ignition means I dont have to mess with lighters or matches. I've used this stove with both fuel inputs and it works beautifully. This stove boils 1.5L of water in a steel pot in 5-7mins.
You need to unscrew the fuel can quickly like with every other stove of this type so you dont waste excessive gas. Also it take some wiggling to get the stove back into the case. I currently use this in my car setup for hot meals on the go with my mom on our road trips, but if I was to make this a part of my backpack setup I would switch out the flimsy case for a stuff sack for ease of packing and unpacking.

Summery:
This is a good quality stove, well worth the money.
Oil the joints on the arms because they are stiff and tight.
It boils 1.5L water in 5-7 mins.
Change the outer case if you plan to use it more than 1-2 times a day.
The electric ignition works like a charm.

Value for money is the best part of this item, The fuel line looks to be the weakest link here, just don't pinch it. The other stoves that connect directly to the bottle probably will last longer, but isn't as convenient. Plus this comes with an adapter to connect to the larger tanks. Some of the images shown in the reviews don't look like item picture, but the one I received looks exactly as one shown in item descriptions

Product came in on time and we used it to go camping for 3 days. It worked like a charm until the 3rd day. It started to sound like it was throwing out alot of gas even if it was on the lowest setting. And shooting out a large flame. Went to use it the other day we were out hiking and the fuel line burst into flames. So we turned it off and have not used it since.

Small and compact, you can use either the green bottles of propane or the smaller pancake style butane canisters. Burner is a little wobbly so make sure it's on a flat level surface. Great for warming up water for coffee while camping and smaller pots of food that needs heated. Fits well into pack and stowage.

The adapter is great so you can use both fuel bottles. Also you can use 12 foot hose and the big BBQ bottle and it works great. If the rivets get loose it's easy to use plyers to squeeze the rivets . It also simmers well and also if u turn it up it shoots out this blast of flame and boils water in minutes I highly recommend!
