I have extremely sensitive skind and have been trying for years to find a shaving solution that does not leave me with rashes and ingrown hair on my face. So far my best solution has been a double edge razor, used with a lot of caution. Judging from other reviews, I bought the Oneblade, hoping that it would be at least on par with the DE. It is unfortunately not for me.
When using it without the guard, it produces a decent shave, but causes me a lot of irritation and subsequent ingrown hairs. It performs ok and mostly without irritation when using the guard at the smallest setting. Unfortunately it is however very hard to get an even shave at this setting.
Would not recommend as solution for sensitive skin. Otherwise yes, why not.

Not good at trimming but good at removing your beard.

I bought this to replace a beard trimmer. Its very bad at trimming beards, for what ever reason its not good at this as it does seem to cut anything. What it is really good at is cutting a beard really short. i have had to change my method of shaving to basically trim it to nothing once a week instead of keep ing it between 1 and 2 mm long. Also make usr eyou have replacment blades handy as once its blunt it wont work at all and will hurt to use.

Easy BUT....the description given on Amazon about the battery is wrong. It isn't a Lithium battery which is disappointing long term usage and a bit of false advertising. NiMh batteries are just rubbish for this sort of daily use item especially when they have no battery indicator.
With no charge indicator it also makes it a bit hard to gauge whether you are going to run out of battery with half a beard!
Overall, it could be a lot lot better. Its ok without being great.

It just doesn't work

This was hugely disappointing for my partner. It doesn't work on any length of facial without catching both skin and hair. It certainly doesn't get close to the skin.

I used it on my legs and also noticed it doesn't cut close to the skin, leaving me with lots of leg stubble which is just plain irritating on sensitive skin.

We both came out in rashes after using this. I would only use it as a prep for doing a proper shave, with lots of oil (not shaving cream, but body/bath oil) involved before, after and during.

Good for flat skin if u stretch and use, otherwise cuts on bumpy skin

I am actually returning this item because my skin is sensitive and it gives a very close cut. On flat skin it's good and cuts hair to size 0, but the slight bit of uneven skin or bumpy it is going to cut there, and it hurts and there are marks where the skin hurts.

For a clean shave with thick beard I still don’t think it’s the right razor. It takes 10-15 mins more for a clean shave as compare to my shave with gillette razor. It’s comparatively more irritating and after 3-4 shaves I have decided to go back to my original shaver. Maybe good for trimming and for light shave. Battery life is good.

Cheap but not a close shave

I initially it was great but just 3 weeks into use it already fails to to deliver a close shave. Because of the way it's designed I wouldn't recommend this as a trimmer either. It's still decent, definitely value for money but won't deliver you the shave that paying higher amounts of money would.

as for precision trimming, this is not ideal, it is too wide

also, if you have a curly or wavy beard, this will not trim the hairs evenly

Feels a bit light to hold....plasticky....is that a word....battery life is great....easy adjustment of trimming height...not the best...not the worst....overall ok.

I can’t grow a beard but I want to be more sustainable and buy this instead of buying a razor all the time. It does it’s job but much slower than a razor
