5.0 out of 5 starsShelly and West🥰🥰🥰
Reviewed in Australia on 13 November 2021
Weston and Marty have been best friends since they were kids and Marty’s sister Shelly (Rachel) has always tagged along. She has always loved West and when she is 16 West goes off to join the Army and it breaks her heart. He promises to write to her and never lose touch, but he breaks that promise. Shelly spends 7 years missing West, but does as he asked her to do, and goes to college and follows her dreams to become a historian. West is discharged from the Army but he is a broken man. His entire platoon is killed and after his discharge he goes into a very dark place with alcohol and depression. It takes a lot of years to get sober but he still regards himself as broken. When Shelly is called home when Gram needs surgery she has not seen West for seven years and when she does he is not the man she once knew. This is their story and I thoroughly enjoyed the read.

I tried, oh how I tried. But seriously? Female MC saccharine sweet and kind to elderly/animals-check; surly male MC, vet with issues-check....surprisingly I found the sex too graphic in some places and neither character were shown favourably.

We’ll after reading this my poor husband is in need of a rest !!! No kidding though it’s a great read from beginning to end with all the ups and downs. There’s a build up that is heart wrenching and sexy as hell whenever they connect with a passion that engulfs you from the pages.

West so broken and Shelly so beautifully open and Hercules. What more could you ask for in a book. I loved this story of true love and two people who tried but never gave up.

5.0 out of 5 stars A fond farewell to the Knights of Dallas and their awesome animals 💕
Reviewed in Australia on 10 November 2021
So happy to be gifted with another story set in Dallas, North Dakota where the animals are smarter and much more entertaining than the usual family pets. Bruce the Tiger is still my favorite ever Dallas transplant, but I will admit Hercules was just too adorable for words. Ok, back to actual story, this one had more angst and sexual tension as Weston and Rachel grew up together, but nothing ever came of it as Weston was deployed and Rachel moved to Washington.

Fast forward a few years and their reunion back in Dallas is no where near smooth sailing. They always wanted each other but never acted on it. Once they give in to their mutual desire for one another, they blow the roof off with their sexual chemistry. The steam factor was set nice and high. There is the classic syspense and drama I have come to expect and love. Some shady characters have appeared in town looking to disrupt their tiny town, but fear not the knights of Dallas are never too far off! Another awesome read and a wonderful epilogue that left a huge smile on my face. I was fortunate enough to receive an ARC and this is my honest review.

5.0 out of 5 stars A superb addition to this series
Reviewed in Australia on 11 November 2021
Once again we are in Dallas North Dakota and I have to tell we are again with crazy pets this time the animal in question is a pig.

Weston McKnight and Rachel (Shel) Simon have always been great friend after all he was her brothers best friend but also her protector but he broke her heart when he left to join the military telling her to get an education and forget about him. The education she got and her love of history has led to a job at the Smithsonian forgetting Weston not so easy. Now she has returned home to help after her recuperate after surgery and she happens to rescue a pig that is about to become road kill. How was she to know that the pig belonged to Weston and that he has returned to town the connection is still there between them but Weston knows he is to scarred mentally to be good enough for Shel. Can they find a future together You will have to read to see

I was given a copy of this book but this is a true and honest review

5.0 out of 5 stars Loved This Story.
Reviewed in Australia on 10 November 2021
I loved this chuckle worthy, friends to lovers and a cute little pig story with Weston and Rachel, I loved that this story was in both points of view I always like to know what the other character is thinking or feeling. Weston left to join the army now he’s back and he’s a different man so he believes that he’s no good for Rachel, Rachel is back in town to help look after her grandmother she tries to stay away from Weston because he broke her heart but the heart wants what it wants but I will let you find all of that out for yourself. I loved this thrilling, entertaining and passionate story and I highly recommend this book.
I read a copy of this book and I voluntarily leave my review.

A recent fan, definitely hooked!
5.0 out of 5 stars Weston's story is so worth the wait!

Yes! Absolutely loved the latest from Nicole Snow's Knights of Dallas series. This series has been a joy to read from start to finish, and I was waiting for Weston's story to top it all off. It did not disappoint. Weston and Rachel's journey is a complex but ultimately deeply satisfying one, where both characters learn to face their demons. The drama is top notch, which is to be expected from Nicole Snow, and the addition of animals is as usual hilarious. This time we have a pig as a major third character and he is marvellous. Well worth a read. Can't wait for more from Nicole Snow!
