So much repetition

So I will say these books are quick and easy reads. That’s really the only reason why I’m reading them. I’m not trying to be unkind, but just giving my own opinion. The amount of times I’ve read “the corners of his/her/my mouth turned up” or the word “bro”, really started to annoy me. There is absolutely no creativity in the way these books are written, at all. It’s a let down when the writing just isn’t good. There is hardly any character development at all, in any of these books. Plus they all skip around to different times so often. It’s just a mess. Like I said, if you need a quick and easy read. Go for it. But that’s about all these books can give you.

I like the books but the repetition in these stories is a bit much. The same thing for each brother. They have no intention of falling in love. Some woman comes along and the brother only wants sex The other brothers warn them. They try to deny their own feelings Then they screw up only to realize they fell in love They profess their love and waahlah, happily ever after. The most annoying thing is how much this author uses the phrase “the corners of my lips/mouth turned up” rather than saying something like a gentle smile or a subtle smile. it was so often I lost count. It’s the same as listening to that person talk that constantly says “like” or “ya know”. It’s so repetitious you can’t help notice and focus on it to the point of annoyance.
